PLP 082: Key Takeaways From the 2021 DIY Music Conference

I spent the last three days attended CD Baby’s 2021 virtual music conference. On today’s episode I’m recapping many of the surprising things I learned about Spotify, Pandora, YouTube, branding, and more. I’m not going to try to cover all three days in one podcast (I took 17 pages of notes!), so instead I’ll highlight … Read more

List of Songs that are Blocked on YouTube

YouTube is one of my favorite platforms as an artist. I post my original tracks as well as mixes and mashups all on my channel. Two months ago I also began live streaming there as well using Restream.io. I love YouTube because of the number of tools they offer creators as well as its reach. I also love its amazing content ID system which does a remarkable job identifying songs and giving rights-holders granular control over their content.
