Sean Giovanni is a producer, audio engineer, brand development coach, and owner of The Record Shop in Nashville, TN. During his career Gio, as he’s known to his friends, has worked with big acts and labels to include: Alabama, John Legend, Lil Jon, Meatloaf, Sister Hazel, The Wallflowers, Sony Music, Warner Music Group, Universal, and many more. Gio also runs an artist development and coaching site called Mind Map Tribe which provides artists short videos, worksheets, and mentoring calls to help them achieve their dreams. In this broad ranging interview Gio talks about overcoming adversity and making his own path in Nashville, his multi-step process for working with clients at the Record Shop, how to differentiate yourself as a producer, and why a purpose statement is so powerful.

Sandra Bullet is a singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and producer from Portugal who specializes in rock and cover songs. She has also been the voice for countless producers in styles ranging from EDM, Jazz, Bossa Nova, Trance, Country, House, and Pop because she is currently a top rated seller on Fiverr with over 1,000 completed projects from 40 countries around the world. Additionally, she is one of the most experienced streamers on Sessions Live and is PAID to livestream there. These two platforms have enabled Sandra to follow her passions as a full-time musician for the last three years.

PLP 014: SUBPAC Review

Is a SUBPAC worth it? In December 2019 I purchased a SUBPAC S2 on Amazon while it was on sale. The SUBPAC is like a giant rumble pack on a videogame controller: you put it on the back of your chair and it vibrates to bass frequencies. At around $300 dollars, this is a pretty expensive piece of studio gear. In this episode of the Producer Life Podcast I’ll be sharing my thoughts after several months of use.
